Our Faith

You and I have never seen Jesus calm a storm or raise someone from the dead or heard Him teach?

Though we can not see Him with our eyes, we can believe with our hearts in faith. Faith is not something you wait for, like a letter in the mail, faith is something you step out
like a bridge over a raging river. We may know that the raging river of life is there with our eyes, but step out in faith in your heart that the bridge of Jesus will get you to the other side.

What is the cost of a person?

What is the cost of a person? We as a society put a price tag and judge everything. We judge the girls on the streets, in x-rated movies, we think, selling themselves, not knowing it’s the person or persons we don’t see that’s put them there. A person can rape and assault a 14 year old or younger or older, for 100 to 200 dollars an hour, even delivered to your door, but very few will give a 1 dollar or 5 dollars or even 50 cents to fight against it or even take 15 minutes to report it.

God never intended for one person to own or buy another, but yet we look away as it happens and even some make the demand. What is the cost of your sister, your wife, your sons and daughters?

Judgments Part 2 of 3

Mathew 7:1-3. “Do not judge lest you be judged for in the way you judge you will be judged and by your standard of measure it will be measured to you and why do you look at the Speck that is in your brother’s eye but do not notice the log that is in your own eye”. Jesus in the statement is in no way prohibiting us as Christians or society for that matter from judging which of our actions are right and which of our actions are wrong if we are not able or allowed to judge our actions we would not be able to control our conduct in a right and correct manner this statement is however on are judging of others unfortunately many Christians interpret this verse to mean that it is okay to judge other people as long as we ourselves do not sin what we as people of faith fail to realize is that the focus of Jesus is teaching here is really about the immeasurable sins of the heart like hatred lust greed and self seeking we as born again believers have truly failed when it comes to or with these matters of the heart when we consider this teaching or rather law from Jesus we should have no way shape or form give ourselves a pass or benefit of the doubt and assume that our own sins are lesser in comparison to others instead we should not and cannot place judgment on anyone all together because our immeasurable sense of the heart just may possibly be much worse than the sins of the ones we pass immeasurable.

Judgments pt. 1 of 3

so many people in today’s society and culture pass judgment upon others by the color of their skin, by the tattoos or piercings, buy the expensive of ones clothes or by social standing or by how rich or poor someone is, so much of the human race is divided by race and social standing or status to the point of where we have been thoroughly inoculated from the opinions or traditions of anyone else, every time we judge from the outside in, we put ourselves at risk or in great danger of making enormous mistakes. Mathew 7: 1-3. Do not judge lest you be judged for in the way you judge you will be judged and by your standard of measure it will be measured to You and why do you look at the Speck that is in your brother’s eye but do not notice the log that is in your own eye. Our Lord God thru Jesus Christ our Savior is giving us a strong forceful warning: do not judge, do not be so hard on others, do not be so quick to criticize people, do not be so arrogantly self-righteous, do not be so anxious to point the finger of guilt, be kind, judge not, condemn not and be gracious for everything God puts on your plate.

Consistency!

How much we need to walk a measured pace, to live the life of which we speak. The term, hypocrite is from a Creek word that means play actor, it means we pretend to be something we are not. Sometimes we forget our true identity, we forget we are accountable to God. Let not our old ways make us act like someone we’re not. Let’s live in a way that shows we are alive together with Christ. THE FREEDOM OF CHOICE

positive thoughts and attitude instead of negative, the choice of life over death (deut. 30:19), to be happy not sad, to do good or right and not evil or wrong (romans 12:1)…. God has given us the choice to do as we please, it is the right to any choice so long as it is your own personal choice. Society for so long has been dedicated to selfhood, each person doing there own individual pursuit of self happiness, self comfort and self peace. This commitment to self is in my opinion the most destructive of acts to families, society or any human relationship for that matter it’s a product of Satan’s influence and delusions and is not the correct direction in or for the life of a Christian man, woman or child of God. The choice has to be one of our own to live and love for God and love for thy neighbor and the pursuit and promotion of the kingdom of God. The choice to not do our own thing and deny our self seeking life so we might be free to live for God and others. Are we truly in control of our life? This is a question I tend to ask myself quite frequently, and the answer is yes and no…. Yes we are in control of our choices and attitude in life but we are not in control of the situations we are put into (our times trials and tribulations) those are God’s design and who am I or you to question God. Today I choose life and not death I choose blessings not curses, to be the child of God I am suppose to be. The Rolling Church Ministies JJ Thistle

Storms

In some circumstances, storms are fleeting and harmless, sometimes storms can be a problem, sometimes they can kill. Whether the day is sunny or stormy Jesus is always there. If you want to be miserable, look within, distracted just look around, peaceful look up. Your choice. Rolling Church Ministries Colo Charlie

Patience

I’ve always said patience is a virtue I couldn’t wait for or had no time for but in your walk with God if you do not have patience it will be taught to you. Gods delay is not God’s denial a lot of the time the delay is teaching you the patience to be able to handle or deal with what trials come next in your journey or walk down your individual path with God. Jesus says in psalms 32:8 “I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with my eye upon you” Every step we take we take as though we are holding the hand of Jesus him self for he is always right there with us through our trials as well as our victories praise and thanks to our Lord and Savior Christ Jesus for ups downs and everything between…..
